Troop 688 has completed taking orders for mulch delivery.  Customers will receive their orders on March 20.

You may have seen Scouts from Troop 688 cleaning the roadside of Silverbrook Road, collecting food for the homeless, or working on improvements throughout the area. These are only a few of the service projects that Troop 688 does every year. Troop 688 is sponsored by Christ Church and involves boys from Crosspointe, Barrington, Newington Forest, Laurel Hills, Lorton Station and other neighborhoods. This Troop is a very active troop year round and one of the biggest in Northern Virginia. This pass year the Troop recognized 8 Eagle Scouts as graduates from the Class of 08 at South County High School.

This fundraiser helps to support Troop activities all year including summer camp and hundreds of merit badges. Sales by individual scouts build credit to their account to pay dues and activity fees. So your support in this effort goes directly to the boy scouts and their development as community members. Scouts will be distributing flyers-order forms around the community.
