The Boy Scouts from Troop 688 will be conducting their annual Spring Fund Raising project between January 2012 and March 10, 2012. We are selling 3 cubic foot bags of double shredded hardwood mulch. The Boy Scouts will deliver and neatly stack the mulch on your driveway on March 24th. Your support for this project helps raise funds for the Scouts and helps pay for the Troop’s educational activities, equipment, scouting trips, and other local community activities.

You may have seen the Scouts from Troop 688 cleaning up Silverbrook Road, collecting food for the homeless, or working on improvements throughout the county; such as the installation of a garden at South County Secondary School. These are only a few of the service projects that Troop 688 does every year. Many of the projects help maintain the high standards of cleanliness that our neighborhood is known for.

This fundraiser helps to support Troop activities all year including summer camp and hundreds of merit badges. Sales by individual scouts build credit to their account to pay dues and activity fees. So your support in this effort goes directly to the boy scouts and their development as community members. Scouts will be distributing flyers-order forms around the community.
